SYLO by D. J. Machale ("Pendragon")
More Than This by Patrick Ness ("Chaos Walking Trilogy")
I'm reading this one now: Reboot by Amy Tinterra. Basic story: In a dystopian Texas, a virus kills some people and alters others, only to bring them back as reboots, after they die. Reboots are stronger, faster, quicker to recover from wounds that would kill anyone human.
They're cold, emotionless versions of their former selves. At first, reboots were welcomed, then they were rejected and executed by frightened humans. Things have changed: adults over 20 are killed but teens are used by HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation) as enforcers. Wren 178 (the number refers to the length of time she was dead) is the Republic's best. Then Calllum 22 shows up among the new recruits. Wren 178's familiar world starts to change. Original story, great heroine.
