Election 2008

Things are getting down and dirty in the last phase of the campaign to elect a new president. Mudlsinging, lies, half-truths, comments taken out of context. What's a voter to do? Bill Moyers had a segment on his show last night about the role of journalism and media bias. Voters can and should check ads, news items, and such for accuracy. Don't just rely on MSNBC, CNN, Fox, etc. There are plenty of fact checking websites that will give you the basic information you need to make an informed decision:

While you're surfing the net check out these voter webpages: WWE Smackdown Your Vote This page covers more than just voting and the election. It covers all sorts of issues for local and internatiional community action Primarily for Latino voters, but anyone can register to vote on this site. You can register to vote here. In Spanish too.
